SproutScript is a childminding management platform that enables childminders to manage children's records, communicate with parents, and run their childminding business digitally. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
SproutScript is intended for use by registered childminders in the United Kingdom and the parents or guardians of children in their care. By registering you confirm you are aged 18 or over and, if registering as a childminder, that you are registered with Ofsted or your relevant regulatory body.
3. Accounts

SproutScript offers a free Starter plan and paid Professional (£4.99/month) and Premium (£9.99/month) plans. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the app — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. No refunds are offered for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use SproutScript to:
- Store false or misleading information
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
We may terminate accounts for breach of these rules.
6. Children's data responsibility
Childminders are the data controllers for children's personal data held in their account. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents from parents/guardians and complying with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and Ofsted requirements. SproutScript processes this data on your behalf as a data processor.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance that temporarily affects access. SproutScript is not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
8. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in SproutScript (including the software, design, and branding) belong to SproutScript. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SproutScript's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
